30th Annual Fresh Start Charity Golf Tournament

As a REALTOR® and a proud member of the Women of Compass in Scottsdale, AZ, I recently had the honor of volunteering at the 30th Annual Fresh Start Charity Golf Tournament held at Talking Stick Golf Course. This event united our community in a day of friendly competition with rounds of golf, silent, and live auctions—all in support of a cause dedicated to life-changing empowerment. This milestone marked 30 years of Fresh Start’s commitment to supporting women, and it was inspiring to see such a strong turnout for this impactful organization. After the final tally, over $475,000 was raised to support the efforts of Fresh Start!

Fresh Start has become a pillar in the Phoenix community. Their achievements in fiscal year 2023 illustrate their impact: they supported over 4,200 women, positively influenced the lives of 3,060 children, and provided access to 12,240 services. Through programs like financial literacy, career counseling, and family law guidance, Fresh Start equips women with the tools they need to thrive. Their slogan, “Empowering Women to Succeed,” reflects their dedication to creating opportunities and fostering resilience and independence for every woman they serve.

Additionally, Fresh Start hosts three major fundraising events each year, offering more ways to contribute. The first event of 2025 will be the Fresh Start Gala on March 22nd at The Phoenician—a special evening of elegance and purpose. Other key events include Fresh Start’s Sip and Soiree and the Charity Golf Classic, all of which help fund Fresh Start’s mission of transforming lives.
